CIS Group Delivers Innovative Technology To Optimize Sports Clients' Workflows By SVG Staff

The Sports Video Group is pleased to welcome CIS Group as a corporate sponsor. For more than 30 years, CIS has been a distributor and digital-systems designer and integrator, providing innovative technology solutions to a multitude of clients, primarily in Brazil and along the U.S. East Coast.
CIS focuses on putting clients' budgets to good use by optimizing their workflows, ultimately enabling them to maximize creativity. The company's core expertise lies in broadcast and entertainment (news, sports, and dramaturgy, among others), but it also services non-media institutions, such as houses of worship, educational entities, and corporations.
It goes without saying that sports and sports-oriented content pushes the media-tech space towards the edge of possibility and propels our entire industry beyond those bounds, further driving innovation, says CIS Group COO Matt Silva. As a sports fanatic myself, I can attest to the fact that sports tend to fuel an audience's emotions, for better or for worse. It makes people feel like part of a greater whole, as though they are on a collective mission right alongside their favorite teams to win the Champions League, Super Bowl, World Cup, NBA Finals - you name it.
To me, he continues, there's no better outlet through which to expose our industry's technological advancement and immediately see how it enhances the audience's experience by bridging the gap between those on the field and those in the stands to the extent possible. We at CIS have seen this firsthand with our partnerships with the Miami Heat, Fox Sports Brazil, Florida Panthers, TV Globo, among others. That's a mission that I think SVG does a wonderful job of propelling, and CIS is extremely excited to be a part of it.
CIS designs workflows and integrates systems based on the technology of industry-leading partners Avid, GLOOKAST, EditShare, StorageDNA, Spectra Logic, Object Matrix, NewTek, Facilis, Sony, FileCatalyst, TVU Networks, and others.
CIS provides a full consulting and design service, integration, and testing of the solutions it provides, installation by experienced engineers, and a dedicated maintenance and support service, all culminating in the assurance that projects are seamlessly executed and that clients can rely on one party prior to delivery, during installation, and after implementation.
Headquartered in Florida, CIS has offices and representatives in Brazil (Rio de Janeiro and S o Paulo), New York, and Portugal, collectively servicing the Americas, Caribbean, and Southern Africa.
