It was not long ago when Mpumalanga Short Film Festival hosted its 1st film festival in the History of South Africa.

This year its packed with Film Workshops from International Filmmakers, Negotiation with the James Cameron, Tyler Perry and Angelina Jolie are in Progress, soon as approved it will be live here, those are our international workshop facilitator and many more from Africa. A seven days film festival focusing on the 20 years of Democracy in SA, We have more prizes this year.

1st Prize> Walk away with 50 000 budget to produce a short film for Cannes film festival.

2nd prize> Walk away with a Bursary worth 25 000 in one of our SA Schools of Film and Video.

3rd prize> Walks away with 15 000 plus 3 months Internship with big production companies in SA

4th Prize> Walks away with 10 000 plus 6 months training in our training academy. There are many prizes to be given away, Cellphones, Study kit, Ipad, Mac Desktop, Editing Suit, Cameras and many more. Make your film Based in our 2014 theme Celebrating 20 years of Democracy in SA. All filmmakers are invited and are expected to have their films submitted before June 2014.

Mpumalanga Soon will be the Host city of International stars. Film submission is not free a fee of R 100/$10 for all filmmakers submission. no film will be accepted without paying the above fee. tickets to the festival will be available from 30 April 2013 computicket each will be R 60 and VIP R 120 for arranged face to face chat with our International Stars, package will be available at a fixed price of R 3500 per person..... stay tuned for more and make sure you check the space.
