Berlin, 07.06.2016. Europe's leading private weather company MeteoGroup will once again present at IBC, the international trade fair for broadcast, TV and mobile taking place from 9 to 13 September in Amsterdam. MeteoGroup's media division will showcase the latest technological advancements in weather solutions for broadcasters, online and mobile markets at stand 2.C48 in Hall 2. Changing content demands and consumer behavior such as increasing use of TV, online and on-demand-viewing are just some of the challenges broadcasters are facing.
The weather experts will offer insights into maximising cost efficiency with high quality weather shows in virtual sets, combining easy-to-use software. MeteoGroup's WeatherSuite system enables presenters to generate maximum flexible output (4K, VR, 3D) with minimal studio space.
MeteoGroup will showcase another pioneering feature, 360-degree videos for weather presenters. This new feature allows presenters to create virtual flights over 3D terrain while simulating the changing weather conditions, giving audiences a revolutionary viewing experience.
The connection between live-TV-consumption and social media channels has created opportunities for new broadcasting weather formats. Customised content is only a click away, available anytime, anywhere. As a provider of comprehensive weather solutions MeteoGroup focuses on accelerated workflows for broadcasters, offering special features for themultiple use of recorded weather presentations across online and mobile platforms.
