LG Electronics presenta estos d as en CES 2014 en Las Vegas su nueva plataforma de Smart Tv. Adquirida a HP en marzo del ltimo a o, webOS ha sido ahora redise ada por LG como su nueva plataforma de televisi n inteligente.
La nueva televisi n inteligente de LG, ofrece una interfaz de uso mucho m s intuitiva, basada en la experiencia adquirida durante los ltimos a os por webOS. Adem s, la plataforma permite a los desarrolladores la creaci n de aplicaciones de forma m s r pida y flexible, ampliando al mismo tiempo la compatibilidad de las Smart Tv de LG con otros dispositivos.
La propuesta de LG presenta tres funciones a destacar: simple connection, simple switching y simple discovery.
El simple connection busca que el dispositivo sea de f cil configuraci n para los usuarios mostrando al encender el aparato un personaje animado que gu a al usuario.
Por su parte, la opci n simple switching permite pasar de una aplicaci n a otra r pidamente entre aquellas utilizadas recientemente. El simple discovery estar a relacionado con el uso de comandos por voz y gestos.
LG tambi n ha creado un mercado de aplicaciones con ofertas que incluyen Twitter, Netflix, Hulu PLus, Amazon Instant Video y Vudu.
