Parking facilities were also optimized. In 70 old communities of central downtown, parking lots were renovated while 9,400-odd new spaces came into existence. 145 thousand reserved parking spaces were increased, among which more than 9,000 were for public use. 1,400-odd places were established for the deposit of 36 thousand public bikes, which were rented by over 100 million people. Year by year, slow traffic system was gradually perfected with 26 underpasses in places like the No.1 Hospital, Women and Children Hospital and the Southern Business District of Yinzhou already constructed. Accompanied by the improvement of traffic order is a consensus to travel in line with traffic rules. In key routes of congestion control, over 90 percent of automobile drivers conform to the law while over 80 percent of non-motor drivers and pedestrians are law-abiding. Work such as renovation of shop trucks and parking is conducted to maintain good traffic order. 24 districts are designated to operate circulatory traffic, 139 one-way roads are developed and the coverage of goods-forbidden areas reaches 191 square kilometers.
