LONDON AND LOS ANGELES Sept. 17, 2013 LOVEFiLM, an Amazon company, and CBS Studios International today announced a licensing agreement to bring the hit TV series Under the Dome to the LOVEFiLM Instant streaming service in the UK.

Based on the bestselling novel by acclaimed author Stephen King and produced by Steven Spielbergs Amblin Television, Under the Dome tells the story of a small town that is suddenly and inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by an enormous transparent dome.

The book earned widespread critical acclaim and #1 bestseller status when it was first published in 2009. Since its launch on U.S. television in June, the show has become the most-watched series of the summer across broadcast and cable, averaging 14.85 million viewers.

As part of the licensing agreement, LOVEFiLM Instant will be the only subscription-based service to stream Under the Dome in the UK. The serialized drama will be available to LOVEFiLM.com members beginning June 2014.

CBS Corporation and Amazon.com, Inc. previously announced a content licensing agreement for Under the Dome in the U.S. on Amazon's Prime Instant Video service, which streams the episodes after their broadcast on the CBS Television Network.
