PSOE, PP, United We Can and PNV dynamite the public tender and agree to share control of RTVE El presidente de la Corporaci n RTVE ser Jos Manuel P rez Tornero, que sustituir a Rosa Mar a Mateo.
Dos a os y medio despu s de que el Gobierno alardeara de su apuesta por la independencia de los medios p blicos, convocando un concurso p blico para la selecci n de los miembros del Consejo de Administraci n y de la Presidencia de la Corporaci n RTVE, ha dinamitado todo el proceso.
El PSOE ha alcanzado un acuerdo con PP, Unidas Podemos y PNV para renovar el Consejo de Administraci n de la Corporaci n cuya propuesta se ha votado a favor este jueves, 25 de febrero, en el Congreso de los Diputados.
Tras este acuerdo, se hace caso omiso al proceso de selecci n que llev a cabo un comit de expertos en el marco del concurso p blico, proponiendo como presidente al tercer clasificado: Jos Manuel P rez Tornero (Almer a, 1954).
El nuevo presidente, que suceder a Rosa Mar a Mateo how administradora provisional interina, es periodista, licenciado en Ciencias de la Comunicaci n y Filolog a hisp nica, y Catedr tico de la Universidad Aut noma de Barcelona. Adem s es director de la C tedra UNESCO Media and Information Literacy and Quality Journalism de la C tedra sobre Innovaci n de los informativos (RTVE-UAB) y doctor Honoris Causa por la Universidad Aix-Marseille.
P rez Tornero ha desarrollado su tarea profesional RTVE, en televisiones auton micas y asesorado en diversos proyectos de canales tem ticos privados. Fue creador de la TV Educativa en TVE impulsada por RTVE y el Ministerio de Educaci n, concibiendo programas como La Aventura del Saber.
En la actualidad, mediante la C tedra RTVE-UAB and the Observatorio para la Innovaci n de Informativos, desarrolla proyectos de I D I en materia de Canales informativos de 24 horas; el uso de las tecnolog as m viles para la producci n de informaci n y la participaci n de los espectadores; y la aplicaci n de la inteligencia artificial en las diversas fase de producci n y difusi n.
En cuanto al nuevo Consejo de Administraci n, el acuerdo pol tico apenas ha tenido en cuenta las calificaciones del comit de expertos, proponi ndose a Ram n Colom Esmatges, Elena S nchez Caballero, Concepci n Carmen Cascajosa Virino, Jos Manuel Mart n Medem, Roberto Lakida n Zabalza, Mar a Carmen Sastre Bellas, Jenaro Castro Mui a, Mar a Consuelo Aparicio Avenda o y Juan Jos Ba os Loinaz.
Tras la votaci n en el Congreso de los seis vocales del Consejo de Administraci n que le corresponde, ahora ser el Senado el que nombre los cuatro miembros restantes.
