Christine Bleakley and Amanda Holden return to ITV's This Morning to co-host with Phillip Schofield in 2015
Christine Bleakley and Amanda Holden will both make a return to This Morning's famous sofa during 2015 whilst Holly Willoughby continues her maternity leave. The ITV flagship daytime show will be back on air post the festive break on Monday January 5th with Phillip Schofield and Christine Bleakley hosting.
Picking up the baton from Amanda Holden, Christine - who has guest hosted This Morning several times - said, It's always a joy to host This Morning and to see my good friend Phillip, we always have fun together and I can't wait to see the whole team again.
Fresh from hosting part of ITV's Text Santa together, Phillip and Christine will continue their partnership on This Morning every Monday to Thursday until February's half term week when Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford take the reins.
Amanda Holden - who covered Holly's maternity leave throughout 2014 - will then return following the February half term to co-host This Morning with Phillip until Holly returns. Amanda said, I am thrilled to be coming back. I have such fun on This Morning and working with Phillip. It is a joy to be on such a well-loved programme, covering such a huge range of topics. I cant wait to get back once my filming commitments at the beginning of the year are completed.
Speaking about both of his co-hosts, Phillip said, Naturally I miss Holly very much, but I do consider myself a very lucky man to get to work on This Morning alongside very talented, beautiful and funny women! I always have a great time with Christine and Amanda.
Also during January, multi award-winning This Morning will help viewers with any winter blues by providing expert advice from schema conditioning psychotherapists Nik and Eva Speakman on How To Be Happy' alongside a variety of items and experts sharing their knowledge to help create the perfect positive lifestyle and guidance on how to cope during a month often considered stressful.
This Morning's editor, Pete Ogden said, We are absolutely thrilled to be welcoming both Christine and Amanda back on to the show next year. And from the start of the New Year we will be focusing on the wellbeing of our viewers and to keep them feeling positive and happy despite many Christmas bills or stress they might have - we'll have heaps of top advice to make January a month to look forward to!
