Fans Can Enjoy All LORD OF THE RINGS Movies on December 8 and 9, For One Low Price
Plano, Texas - Cinemark Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CNK), one of the worlds largest motion picture exhibitors, announced that tickets are on sale for The Lord of the Rings Movie Marathon, in which over 185 Cinemark locations will feature the three Lord of the Rings films back-to-back. For one low price of $30 for Cinemark XD locations, and $25 for non-XD theaters, movie-goers can see all three films back to back on either December 8th or 9th. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey opens on Friday, December 14, 2012.
The Lord of the Rings Movie Marathonis the perfect way for fans of Peter Jackson and the J. R. R. Tolkien books to get ready for the new movie The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, states James Meredith, Vice President of Marketing & Communications. Cinemark will make these films available in our Cinemark XD Extreme Digital Cinema auditoriums wherever possible to ensure the best presentation of these award-winning films.
Starting on Saturday, December 8th at 11:00 AM and playing chronologically, The Lord of the Rings Movie Marathon will feature:
The Fellowship of the Ring 11:00 AM
The Two Towers 3:10 PM
The Return of the King 7:25 PM
All three films will be played in the same order and times on Sunday, December 9, 2012.
As a special keepsake of The Lord of the Rings Movie Marathon, customers at each theatre will receive a commemorative lanyard and event pass from Cinemark Theatres. There will also be discounts for Marathon customers at the concession stand.
