RWS Global's EVP, Business Operations, Kim Henshaw, and VP, Sports Technology, Matthew Byles, have been announced as the keynote speakers at the 2025 SVG Venues & Teams Summit (July 23, Intuit Dome in Los Angeles).

RWS Global, a production and entertainment company at the center of international sporting events and live performances, has been responsible for the in-venue activations and overall fan experience of the Olympic Games since 2000 in Sydney. For the 2024 Summer Olympics, more than 450 staffers were onsite to produce 54 sports in 37 venues across Paris and the country of France. Henshaw and Byles will take attendees back to the City of Light and discuss the planning and execution of the in-venue portion, the technologies that made it possible, and more.

Henshaw's experience stretches back to the 1994 Commonwealth Games in Victoria, Canada as a Producer of the Victoria Harbour Festival, where she managed all sides of the stage from performers and gold medal winning athletes to Host Broadcast. Over the last three decades, Henswhaw has become instrumental in the growth and scale of RWS Global's sports division, previously known as Great Big Events, leading the team on the commercial side of the business. Her strength lies in people management, relationships on all sides from supplier to client to in-house teams, overseeing the administrative functions of the business and ultimately supporting the company's successful delivery of the best sporting events in the world.

Byles is the leader of RWS Global's technical and innovation team and spearheads the integration of cutting-edge digital technologies into event production across our sports portfolio. He oversees all technical aspects, including lighting, audio, video, screen production, and host broadcaster links. Alongside this, he leads the team behind PV4 - RWS Global's proprietary system for dynamic screen experiences. His work has included introducing technical innovations at events such as the Paris 2024 Olympic & Paralympic Games, the ICC Men's T20 Cricket World Cup, and FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup.

More on the SVG Venues & Teams Summit The 2025 SVG Venues & Teams Summit will head to the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles on July 23, allowing production professionals from sports organizations to dissect the latest trends and creative ideas keeping fans entertained both inside and outside the venue. This annual event will also place the NBA's newest arena in the spotlight with a full tour to check out various broadcast and production areas and an informative presentation to better understand the workflows that power the facility.

Key in-venue production personnel, social media experts, and leading vendors and manufacturers will cover a range of important topics, including digital content generation at marquee sporting events, the process that goes into bringing a new studio to life, 4K HDR and IP-centric workflows inside of the control room, technologies that exist in the lower bowl that contribute to live videoboard shows, activations and elements that drive the fan experience on gameday, and event-based productions at some of the biggest spectacles in 2024.
