Broadcast Asia promotes PHABRIX

Broadcast Asia promotes PHABRIX PHABRIX attended Broadcast Asia in June this year with a dedicated stand on the UKTI pavillion. It was also showing products on the Ideal Systems booth at the show. Ideal systems is an important regional systems integrator who signed with PHABRIX prior to the show and it was the first chance for Ideal to promote the product range to its Asian customers.

On display were the Sx hand held instrument range and the new Rx rack mount products. The Sx portable instruments consist of the SxA, SxE and SxD, each capable of analysing, generating and monitoring SD, HD and 3G-SDI signal sources. The SxE is the company's flagship hand held which has unique eye and jitter technology and has been a worldwide success.

The PHABRIX Rx rack mount modular test and mesurement range featured multi channel support with a high resolution rasterized 1920 x 1080 output of the instruments on each SDI signal. Multi-channel loudness support and full Dolby E , D and D plus decode were among the latest audio announcements combined with a new 4AES card to add to the video generation and analysis toolsets currently supported. Physical layer analysis on the Rx now supports 4 channels simultaneously.

Paul Nicholls director of sales and marketing who was in attendance commented,

There was exceptional interest in our products during Broadcast Asia this year. It was also an opportunity to support our distributors in the region which included Tekmark group, Reach Media and Ideal systems. Test and measurement solutions in this rapidly growing region continue to gain interest and our cost effective quality solutions have certainly been received well by both established and new customers. We look forward to increasing our sales in this important region through 2013 and into 2014'.
