UNIVERSAL ELECTRONICS PAUL ARLING NAMED CEO OF THE YEAR IN OC TECH ALLIANCE HIGH-TECH INNOVATION AWARDS
Paul Arling Recognized For Establishing Sustained Innovation and Delivering Laudable Financial Performance and Investor Returns

(NASDAQ:UEIC), the worldwide leader in universal remote control technologies and control interfaces, today announced that Paul Arling, CEO, has won the Outstanding Public Company CEO category of the Orange County Technology Alliances annual High-Tech Innovation Awards.
Now in its 22nd year, the prestigious High-Tech Innovation Awards honor the best OC-based tech companies, people and products driving innovation locally and globally. Arling, who received the award for the first time this year, was named CEO of the Year for his role in establishing an innovation culture at Universal Electronics, and for his leadership in guiding the companys impressive financial performance and stockholder investment returns throughout his tenure.
