SeaChange to Show Multi-Screen Blended Entertainment Services at International CES

Software Innovations Empower TV Service Providers to Deliver Home Gateways, Network PVR and Multi-Device Subscriber Experiences

ACTON, Mass. At the International Consumer Electronics Show (Las Vegas, Jan. 7-10, 2014), SeaChange International (Nasdaq: SEAC) will demonstrate software and services that empower television providers to delight subscribers with multi-screen offerings, including blended entertainment services incorporating fully monetized video-on-demand, linear television, and over-the-top (OTT) content. Several blended entertainment building blocks will be featured, including headed and headless media gateways based on SeaChange Nucleus and the industry Reference Design Kit (RDK); the pay-as-you-grow SeaChange Cloud Adrenalin service; and unified multi-device subscriber experiences built with SeaChange Nitro.

SeaChange Nucleus gateway software, integrated with Adrenalin and multiple customer premises equipment makes and models, will show how subscribers can enjoy an environment of media sharing, whole home DVR and other popular capabilities across connected home devices and DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) clients. Leveraging the RDK, Nucleus demonstrations will include the recently launched NETGEAR HMG7000 headless media gateway, among other integration examples.

In its CES debut, SeaChange Cloud Adrenalin provides the full complement of deployment-proven SeaChange capabilities for multi-screen TV delivery, analytics, promotions and monitoring in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) foundation. The feature-rich SeaChange Nitro subscriber experience software provides the navigation to apps and services, including network PVR, delivered by Adrenalin. Adding a vital layer of monetization, Adrenalins promotional capabilities show how television providers can create targeted content packages and market them across mobile devices, PCs and OTT streaming players to increase average revenue from subscribers wherever they go.
