MELBOURNE, Florida, April 7, 2014 Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS) is a member of the Phacil Inc.-led team which was awarded a three-year, multi-million dollar contract for the Modernization Eastern Range Network program by the U.S. Department of Defense. The program will modernize the voice and data network that supports launch and test range communications for the U.S. Air Force Space Command 45th Space Wing at Canaveral Air Force Station and Patrick Air Force Base in Florida. Harris brings strong systems engineering processes and networking engineering expertise to this team, said Bill Gattle, vice president and general manager, National Programs, Harris Government Communications Systems. We are committed to meeting the rigorous standards and launch range safety requirements of this initiative in order to modernize the mission communications network that is vital to our nations space launch operations.
