Ikegami Electronics Asia Pacific will promote its wide range of broadcast production cameras, monitors and related equipment on stand 5D3-1, Hall 5, at Broadcast Asia 2025 in Singapore, Tuesday May 27th through Thursday 29th.
BROADCAST ASIA PREMIERE: IPX-100 IP extension unit
The Ikegami IPX-100 IP extension unit is a compact IP base station for Ikegami UNICAM cameras. It allows broadcast content creators to adopt SMPTE ST 2110 IP remote operation while supporting the familiar workflow of baseband live production. The camera head is powered by the IPX-100 so there is no operational difference for the camera operator compared with using a conventional fibre-cabled camera. JPEG XS support is included. An HD-SDI video monitoring output allows direct connection of a field monitor to the IPX-100, facilitating initial setup. A web browser, XE Web View, is now available for remote setup and monitoring of the IPX-100 with the aid of an optional Ikegami Protocol Gateway.
BROADCAST ASIA PREMIERE: UHL-X40 two-piece box-style UHD HDR camera
The Ikegami UHL-X40 is designed for applications requiring an inconspicuous camera with uncompromised UHD HDR performance. Just 120 x 128 x 112 mm in size and weighing 1.1 kg, the camera head requires only 28 watts of power and connects with its compact CCU via up to 10 km of duplex single-mode fibre cable carrying uncompressed sensor data. Included with the camera head to CCU processor fibre link is a 100 Mbps Ethernet trunk for external data such as pan/tilt/zoom control. Features include global shutter 4K/UHD CMOS sensors and advanced digital processing. Additional UHL-X40 capabilities are image inversion, allowing upside-down mounting from a ceiling, plus CCU-selectable HD image cutout from a UHD source. The UHL-X40 achieves F11 sensitivity at 2160p50 and has a signal-to-noise ratio of 62 dB. HDR and BT.2020 colour reproduction are available as standard.
ALSO PROMOTING:
UHK-X700 camera. Designed for pedestal-mounted, tripod mounted or shoulder operation, this has three inch CMOS UHD sensors with a global shutter to minimise artifacts when shooting LED screens or scenes illuminated with flash or strobe lighting. Weighing only 5 kg, the camera comes with a B4 lens mount and has an optical sensitivity of F11 at 4K-UHD/50p. HFR shooting at up to 2x speed in UHD or up to 8x in HD via the BSX-100 base station is possible as an option.
UHK-X750 UHD/HD HDR full studio camera with all the UHK-X700 features except those that apply to portable shoulder operation. It offers a lower centre-of-gravity and easier staging compared to a portable camera with telephoto lens and supporter.
UHK-X600 UHD-upgradeable studio/portable HDR camera with three inch oversampling global shutter UHD CMOS sensors delivering 1000 TVL resolution, minimal aliasing, plus 2000 lux sensitivity at F11 (50p). Measuring a compact 148.5 x 243 x 340 mm and weighing only 5 kg, the UHK-X600 accepts a wide range of B4 lenses and supports chromatic aberration correction, vignetting correction, ramping compensation (OVC) and remote control of backfocus when the latter is also supported by the lens.
HDK-X500 3-CMOS HD HDR portable camera system for pedestal, tripod and shoulder operation. Features include global shutter sensors plus automatic optical vignetting correction throughout the range of OVC-compatible B4 bayonet mount zoom lenses.
OCP-500 operation control panel. This allows the HDK-X500 to be controlled fully remotely. Designed for integration into an outside broadcast hub or studio control gallery, its 82 mm width offers space-saving efficiency without compromising on functionality. Up to five OCP-500 panels fit in the space of four OCP-300 control units.
HLM-2460WA LCD monitor. Building on the features and performance of its HLM-2460W predecessor, the HLM-2460WA is designed for use in broadcast environments such as edit suites where a computer-friendly WUXGA display resolution is preferred, and for integration into monitor walls.
HLM-1860WR AC/DC LCD monitor. This model has a larger (18.5 inch) Full-HD LCD panel than its HLM-1760WR predecessor, within the same 7U housing. The 1,000:1 contrast ratio and 500 nits peak brightness display reproduces clear images even outdoors.
