ATTO Technology Features Multiple Dell and ATTO Solutions on Dell Technologies World 2020 Event Page

ATTO and Dell have partnered to create solutions for the entire IT landscape. Among multiple solutions certified by Dell and featured on the event page is the industry's only commercially available solution to add high-speed Ethernet connectivity to standard SAS LTO tape drives consisting of ATTO XstreamCORE ET 8200 intelligent storage bridges and Dell EMC PowerVault ML3 scalable tape libraries.

ATTO XstreamCORE ET 8200 intelligent bridges allow SAS/SATA storage like PowerVault ML3 libraries to connect over Ethernet using iSCSI. Utilizing existing networks, up to 16 LTO tape drives can be connected to a single ATTO XstreamCORE allowing scaling of backup environments in ways previously unavailable to IT architects.

ATTO 360 Tuning, Monitoring and Analytics Software now includes seven custom tuning and optimization profiles for Dell Isilon and PowerScale nodes running Dell Technologies OneFS file system. ATTO 360 Tuning Software is designed to easily optimize and maintain Ethernet networks.

When used in conjunction with ATTO FastFrame 3 and ThunderLink Ethernet adapters, Dell customers get previously unheard of performance numbers and troubleshooting capabilities with ATTO 360. Testing has shown that ATTO FastFrame NICs running ATTO 360 can improve performance of Dell Isilon and PowerScale nodes up to 30%.
