V-Nova, a leading provider of data compression solutions, video compression technology, XR technology, and AI acceleration is expanding its presence at NAB Show 2025 in Las Vegas, April 6th-9th.

This year's NAB Show comes at an exciting time, as TV3.0 is ratified in Brazil, with MPEG-5 LCEVC selected as the video enhancement codec layer of the next generation broadcast system.

The MPEG-5 LCEVC (Low Complexity Enhancement Video Coding) Showcase will demonstrate its growing momentum with practical examples of the expanding ecosystem across broadcasting, streaming, and social networks that V-Nova and 50 other companies now support.

The showcase will demonstrate interoperable solutions with LCEVC-enabled encoders, players, and consumer devices. Use cases, including LCEVC-enhanced pixel streaming applications with content co-produced by V-Nova Studios in the Lumiere Award-winning V-Nova PresenZ cinematic 6DoF format, will demonstrate the power of V-Nova technologies. The showcase will cover five key areas:

VR/XR and Cloud Gaming: Immersive cinematic-grade 6 degrees of freedom (6DoF) demos at the V-Nova pod, using the V-Nova PresenZ format and streamed with LCEVC. This breakthrough is set to unlock a multi-billion-dollar market for immersive media in the XR space.

Broadcasting and Pay-TV: LCEVC-capable chipsets, set-top boxes, and an LCEVC-compatible Hisense TV, decoding LCEVC 4Kp60 10bit HDR content, will be shown.

Social media: LCEVC-enhanced apps for scalable multi-layer video delivery of UGC video streams, lowering delivery costs, improving end-user experience, and accelerating the deployability of latest-gen codecs will be highlighted in the demonstration.

OTT Streaming: A showcase of LCEVC's compatibility for in-app deployment on iOS, Apple TV, Android, and Web, providing top-quality streaming at minimal cost.

Ultra-Low Latency for cloud gaming and pixel streaming: LCEVC enhances pixel streaming platforms, including Kyber's latest SDK, enabling remote display of demanding content at the lowest latency.
