LOOK: All the winners from the 2021 Royalty Soapie Awards DiepCity' scooped seven awards, followed by The Estate' with three, whilst Gomora' and Generations: The Legacy' took two awards.

Actress Jessica Nkosi scooped Outstanding Female Villain' for role as Thando Sebata on The Queen'

The Royalty Soapie Awards and red carpet ceremony were recorded at the Radisson Hotel and Convention Centre in Johannesburg this past Saturday night (18 September).

Soapie viewers will only be able to watch the awards ceremony next Saturday, 2 October on SABC 1 at 19h30.

The fifth installment of the awards was hosted by Isibaya actress Enhle Mbali, and comedian Felix Hlophe,

LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD Veteran actress Dr Lillian Dube, received the Lifetime Achievement Award at this year's awards.

Dube is best known for her role as Sister Bettina in Soul City, Masibobe on Generations, Koko K in the SABC1's sitcom, My Perfect Family, and SABC 2's sitcom, Skwizas which she produced and acted in.

The 72-year-old veteran actress began her acting career in the 1980s and has excelled in capturing audiences with her many characters.

She owns a casting company called, Lillian Dube Casting Agency where she nurtures the talents of young people and encourages them to chase their dreams.
