**World Premiere**

Pig Girls Don't Cry

The Muppets return to prime time with a contemporary, documentary-style show where audiences will explore the Muppets' personal lives and relationships; a more adult Muppet show, for kids of all ages. In the series premiere, Miss Piggy is furious when Kermit books Elizabeth Banks (The Hunger Games) as a guest on her late-night talk show Up Late with Miss Piggy . Meanwhile, Fozzie Bear tries to calm his nerves before meeting his girlfriends parents; and the cast prepares for a special performance by GRAMMY Award winning band, Imagine Dragons.

Life in Pieces (s/CBS): 8:30 p.m. ET/PT, 9:30 p.m. MT, 7:30 p.m. CT

**Series Premiere**

Pilot

Life in Pieces is a single-camera comedy about one big happy family and their sometimes awkward, often hilarious, and ultimately beautiful milestone moments as told by its various members. New parents Greg (Colin Hanks, Fargo) and Jen (Zoe Lister Jones, Friends with Better Lives) are overwhelmed by the pressures of raising a child. On the other hand, Heather (Betsy Brandt, Breaking Bad) and Tim (Dan Bakkedah, Veep) contemplate adding to their family.

**Season Premiere**

Satellite of Love

The new Director of Homeland Security (guest star Alana De La Garza, Forever) reunites the team when a nuclear powered Russian satellite is knocked out of orbit and must be diverted before it detonates over Southern California. Later, Paige (Katharine McPhee) and Walter (Elyes Gabel) must face their feelings for each other after hospital footage reveals their blossoming romance.

Tuesday, Sept. 22

The girls of Kappa House, the most sought-after sorority at Wallace University, are dying for new pledges - literally. All hell breaks loose after anti-Kappa Dean Cathy Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis, Halloween) decrees that sorority pledging must be open to all students, and not just the school's silver-spooned elite. As a devil-clad killer begins wreaking havoc across campus, sorority sisters Chanel Oberlin (Emma Roberts,American Horror Story), Grace Gardner (Skyler Samuels), Hester Ulrich (Lea Michele, Glee) and Chanel #5 (Abigail Breslin, August: Osage County) have to adjust to a new sorority life while trying to stay alive.

Meanwhile, Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) stages a star-studded #FreeLucious concert to support him, while scheming with Andre (Trai Byers), Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray), Anika (Grace Gealey), and the business-savvy Mimi Whiteman (recurring guest star Marisa Tomei) to finalize the hostile takeover of Empire.

Summer Lovin'

Haley (Sarah Hyland) tries to stop Andy (Adam DeVine) from proposing to Beth, but the attempt does a number on their emotions. Meanwhile, Jay (Ed O'Neill) and Gloria (Sofia Vergara) look at preschools for Joe (Pierce Wallace) and are shocked by how competitive the process can be. Although Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) continues to remain supportive of Mitchells (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) midlife career crisis, he hatches a plan to get his husbands old job back when they start to run out of money.

The Word

When Jack (Miles Brown) performs the song Gold Digger at a school talent show and sings a lyric that includes the word, it leads to his possible expulsion from school. Dre (Anthony Anderson) and Bow (Tracee Ellis Ross) work together to get him reinstated, and along the way examine the evolution of the word through the generations and just who has the right to use it.
