Advanced solutions for environments HEVC Sapec Entre las novedades que m s llamaron la atenci n en NAB 2014 destacaron su nuevo codificador y decodificador de HEVC, as como su nueva soluci n para sat lite Gredos.
Con un nuevo dise o e imagen, Sapec present en NAB 2014 sus ltimas apuestas tecnol gicas. Con casi un incremento de casi el 30% en las visitas a su stand y reuniones con numerosos clientes (esencialmente directores t cnicos) de 28 pa ses de todos los continentes (Am rica del Sur principalmente) Sapec ha dado a conocer su amplia oferta en sistemas de codificaci n avanzada.
Los clientes con los que Sapec colabora habitualmente en M xico han agradecido personalmente la reciente apertura de la nueva oficina mexicana, y en el stand se han apalabrado una gran cantidad de nuevos proyectos a compartir y otros con oportunidades reales en las que trabajar.
La novedad que m s llam la atenci n fue el p dium del codificador y el decodificador de HEVC, donde por un extremo se encontraba un reproductor de v deo que entregaba una se al HD-SDI al codificador que la comprim a, la enviaba por IP al decodificador que la descomprim a, y sacaba una se al HD-SDI que se presentaba en un monitor.
Asimismo hubo mucho inter s por las soluciones para sat lite del Gredos, por el ahorro de espacio que supone integrar en la misma caja , el encoder y el modulador. Varios clientes se mostraron interesados solicitando demostraciones posteriores y ofertas.
El Altum II por su parte interes mucho sobre todo por la reducci n de latencia que ofrecer , y la capacidad de configurar muchos par metros a trav s del display.
Seg n las previsiones de Sapec, el Altum II estar disponible a nivel comercial en los pr ximos meses, antes del IBC en septiembre. El HEVC llegar a msterdam mucho m s avanzado y depender mucho de la demanda del mercado y de si alguno de los clientes cuenta con un proyecto concreto. Por lo que ha podido comprobar SAPEC en Las Vegas hay mucho inter s en los clientes sobre el nuevo standard H.265, ver qu posibilidades ofrece, ventajas sobre otros algoritmos, por lo que a Sapec le gustar a en este sentido poder contar con alguna compa a que realmente tenga un proyecto real para poder implementar y colaborar con ellos a nivel HEVC.
Un claro ejemplo de este desarrollo en I+D+i que Sapec lleva llevando a cabo durante los ltimos a os volvi a distinguirse en el World Mobile Congress 2014 celebrado en Barcelona hace dos meses, donde realiz por segundo a o consecutivo la experiencia de transmitir por TDT una se al de Ultra Alta Definici n (UHDTV) a 50 im genes por segundo (UHD 4K@50fps con resoluci n 2.160 3.840). Este a o, ha sido posible gracias a la nueva tecnolog a de SAPEC presentada en este ltimo NAB de Las Vegas, el codificador y descodificador HEVC (ITU H.265).
En un futuro pr ximo, la UHDTV en sus dos versiones (4K y 8K) puede ser un importante cambio en la percepci n que puedan tener los usuarios para ver contenidos, ya que la alt sima resoluci n, calidad y detalle que ofrecen las im genes, junto con los tama os de la pantallas permiten al usuario aparecer inmerso en el propio video. Sapec es consciente de ello y con el HEVC (ITU H.265), ha permitido alcanzar sus capacidades de evoluci n y adaptaci n a las nuevas tendencias tecnol gicas como anteriormente ya hizo con la evoluci n hacia la HDTV, el 3DTV, el H.264
