05 Ningbo International Maraon to kick off on Oct 4

The 2015 Ningbo International Marathon is an energetic race event located in northern coastal area of Ningbo City on October 24th, 2015, which will be hosted by the Chinese Athletics Association (CAA),Sports Bureau of Zhejiang Province as well as Ningbo Municipal Peoples Government. In order to promote the brand of this event, the Organization Committee has invited about 25 elite athletes to participate and had CCTV-5 broadcast live on the race date. It is estimated that about10,000 runners will participate in this event this year.

Over 9,000 applicants had successfully registered with the event and obtained the limited quota for participation within the four hours in the first day of the first registration period. Fortunately, the Second registration period will start from 9 am, September 12th 2015 to 5 pm, September 26th 2015 and around 600 quotas will then be open to the enthusiastic applicants.

8 am, October 24th, 2015.

II. Start/Finisher point:

Century City, Hangzhou Bay New Zone, Ningbo, Zhejiang

III. Race Events:

Marathon (42.195KM)

Half-marathon (21.0975KM)

Mini marathon (around 4.5KM)

IV. Registration Fee:

Marathon (USD 50/Person)

Half-marathon (USD 35/Person)

Mini Marathon (USD 25/Person)

VI. Age Requirement:

Marathon (20 years old, born before or in 1995)

Half-marathon (18 years old, born before or in 1997)

Mini-marathon (13 years old, born before or in 2002)

The minor participants shouldn't register without the signature of his/her guardian and shall participate in the race with the escort of at least one guardian.

The participant over 65 years old shouldn't register without the signature of his/her lineal relatives.

VII. Eligibility:

Marathon participants shall have completed other marathon race before or had the training record for marathon.

Half-Marathon participants shall have completed other half-marathon race before or had the training record for half-marathon.
