Zodiak Kids MCN hits 1.2 Million subscribers partners with Future Today to launch on OTT & signs GivingTales

Zodiak Kids announces today that it's You Tube Multi-Channel Network (MCN) has hit over 1.2M Subscribers and had over 20 billion watch time minutes consumed on the platforms. The Zodiak Kids MCN is responsible for popular preschool and kids brands available through the certified YouTube Kids App, channels include Mister Maker, LoliRock and Little Grey Fergie.

Zodiak Kids has just agreed to a partnership with Future Today, a US based technology and distribution company, to bring its flagship channel ZeeKay and its preschool hub channel ZeeKay Junior, which run on YouTube, for distribution on various OTT platforms. As part of the deal, Future Today will build, manage and grow viewership for the channels on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and other OTT platforms. ZeeKay Junior started in 2015. It now has over 220k subscribers and releases new videos twice a week, combining clips, unboxing videos, musical sing-alongs and bespoke content tailored for the platform.

Future Today is a multi-platform video distribution company that works with over 500 Content Partners - Media Companies, Production Studios, Multi-Channel Networks and YouTube Creators - to help them distribute, promote and monetize their content by creating and managing custom branded channels, for free, on platforms such as Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and Smart TVs. Future Today currently manages over 1,000 OTT channels through its cloud-based platform.

Zodiak Kids has also added animated property GivingTales to the ZeeKay Junior channel and managing their stand-alone YouTube channel. GivingTales are beautifully illustrated animated versions of Hans Christian Andersen's classic fairy tales narrated by some of Britain's best known voices such as Stephen Fry, Dame Joan Collins, Joanna Lumley, Sir Michael Caine, Ewan McGregor, David Walliams and the late Sir Roger Moore, who chaired the project at the start in 2015. Twelve videos will be available including The Ugly Duckling, The Emperor's New Clothes, The Little Mermaid and The Princess and the Pea.
