Ross improves production mixer Acuity connectivity 12G single-linkConectividad 12G single-link y nuevos recursos adicionales de procesamiento de v deo son algunas de las mejoras que Ross introduce en su gama de mezcladores Acuity.
Ross Video ha dotado a uno de sus mezcladores insignia, Acuity, de importantes mejoras como conectividad 12G single-link y recursos adicionales de procesamiento de v deo.
Los motores Acuity est n construidos con una matriz de entrada y salida modular, para intercambiar f cilmente tarjetas de E/S compatibles entre s en un solo chasis lo que permite personalizar el mezclador para que funcione como si fuera h brido-IP, un hub de procesamiento de se al o un mezclador UHD con capacidad 12G.
El nuevo m dulo de entrada de procesamiento m ltiple 12G de Acuity es una tarjeta de 20 entradas que agrega conectividad 12G sinle-link (en cada cuarta entrada) y proporciona funciones de administraci n de se al de entrada independientes. Contar con enlace nico SDI 12G ofrece muchas ventajas durante una migraci n de HD a UHD m s all de la obvia reducci n en el cableado.
Una de estas ventajas es contar con procesamiento de v deo completo en cada entrada. Cada conector en el m dulo de entrada tiene amplificadores de procesamiento y correctores de color dedicados, lo que garantiza un aspecto uniforme entre las fuentes y libera los recursos internos del mezclador.
Por otra parte, permite manejar fuentes sin tiempo y formatos variados. Los recursos independientes en cada tarjeta aseguran que los dispositivos que no se emiten, las fuentes externas y los equipos de nivel inferior coincidan con el tiempo del sistema y el formato de video de la producci n.
Tambi n es importante se alar que los dispositivos anteriores de 1080P usan una tasa de 3G SDI diferente a la de los equipos modernos. El m dulo de entrada de procesamiento m ltiple Acuity 12G asegura que todas las se ales 3G de 1080P sean compatibles con su producci n.
Acuity permite ahora incorporar fuentes SD y HD en producciones UHD. En entornos de se al mixta, el m dulo de entrada 12G MultiProcessing puede convertir se ales SD / 720p / 1080i a 1080p internamente a UHD.
Cada entrada admite conversi n HDR y las fuentes SDR se pueden asignar al mismo perfil que las fuentes HDR para una ruta de procesamiento simple en producciones HDR.
En el modo UHD Quad Link, Acuity funciona a trav s del m todo de interconexi n 2SI UHD. Para los equipos heredados que solo operan en QSD (Quad Square Division), el m dulo de entrada Acuity 12G MultiProcessing puede convertir las entradas QSD al formato 2SI para usar en su producci n.
Por ltimo, cada m dulo de entrada est construido con un MultiViewer de 20 entradas que se puede enviar a cualquier salida en el sistema o incluir en otros MultiViewers basados en procesadores de video.
Nigel Spratling, vicepresidente de mezcladores de producci n y servidores de video de Ross Video, apunta a la clara demanda de los clientes como la raz n de esta mejora. Los operadores de producci n m vil ven an pidiendo una soluci n que les permitiera producir contenido UHD de forma mejor que en Quad Link, por lo que estamos implementando 12G en nuestro mezclador de producci n insignia para soportarlo directamente .
