The 37-year-old recently told Drum Magazine that even she didn't know that today she would be one of the top-rated actresses in the entertainment industry.

She's appeared in multiple shows such as A Place Called Home, Scandal!, Mzali Wam, and many others.

Ngubeni grew up in a family of artists and became influenced and nurtured to love acting and performing from an early age.

I have been a performer all my life; since I was a child.

I was trained as a singer growing up and that's something I got from my family.

As I grew older, acting took over and I decided to study performance in university.

The Drama department at Durban University of Technology has opened up doors for me.

The actress also currently plays the role of Sibongile Dlamini in Mzansi Magic's Mzali Wam besides her role on Scandal!.

MBALI KHUBEKA'S STORYLINE Nolwazi Ngubeni's character - Mbali- is married to Jojo Kubeka played by Isibaya actor Melusi Mbhele

We don't know much about Mbali's background as she's distanced herself from her family since marrying Jojo.

Viewers met her sister Winnie last week after Mbali's miscarriage.

She was told by doctors that she can't conceive and has now asked her sister to be her surrogate.

Fans are worried that her sister and her husband might fall in love as she's asked her to sleep with him to conceive a baby.

The Khubekas are living with a stranger as they don't anything about her before she was one of them.

They've never met her family because they never approved of Jojo and she chose him over them to havea peaceful marriage.

She s been shining through especially these recent couple of scenes.
