3D Wire arranca este martes la que ser su novena edici n. Del 2 al 8 de octubre, Segovia se convierte en el punto de referencia para la industria de la Animaci n, Videojuegos y New Media a nivel nacional e internacional. Con m s de 1.000 acreditados, la cita castellanoleonesa combina festival de cine y mercado, ofreciendo as una programaci n que se adapta tanto al p blico general como a los profesionales de la industria asevera su director, Jos Luis Farias. Un total de 159 proyectos seleccionados de los que se presentar n en exclusiva mundial algunos de los m s esperados como Dragonkeeper, la gran coproducci n hispano-china dirigida por Ignacio Ferreras (Wrinkles). Una edici n marcada por el doble protagonismo de nombres como Alberto V zquez, Diego Porral o Chelo Loureiro que cuentan con m s de un proyecto seleccionado.
La cita de este a o estrecha sus lazos internacionales, consolid ndose como evento hispano-luso y contando con Colombia como pa s invitado. Este a o contar con profesionales de 14 pa ses: Alemania, Argentina, Colombia, Dinamarca, Ecuador, Estados Unidos, Estonia, Filipinas, Francia, Jap n, Irlanda, M xico, Portugal y Reino Unido. Desde que inici 3D Wire se traz una estrategia basada en ser un referente nacional primordial con cada vez mayor reclamo internacional, y nos encontramos en la edici n que mejor refleja este esp ritu , asegura Farias.
3D Wire cuenta con una doble naturaleza donde festival y mercado generan una simbiosis perfecta. Esta combinaci n nos dota de una programaci n que se adapta tanto al p blico general como a los profesionales de la industria asegura Farias. El Festival contar con un total de 41 cortometrajes: 29 en el concurso internacional y 12 en el nacional; obras procedentes de 23 pa ses. Cinematograf as tan diversas como la estadounidense, la china o la uruguaya luchar n por el m ximo reconocimiento que clasifica a los trabajos premiados por p blico y jurado para los Premios European Animation Emile Awards, m ximo reconocimiento europeo en este sector. La selecci n oficial de este a o combina nuevos realizadores con nombres consagrados como el dos veces nominado al Oscar, Bill Plympton.
El mercado, la otra raz n de ser de 3D Wire, ha seleccionado 159 proyectos de los cuales 24 son cortometrajes, 13 largometrajes, 16 series de animaci n, 48 videojuegos, 9 Apps y 11 proyectos VR. Algunos de estos trabajos tendr n su presentaci n en exclusiva mundial en Segovia; como es el caso de Dragonkeeper, co-producci n hispano-china dirigida por Ignacio Ferreras. Pablo Castrillo, guionista, revelar novedades sobre esta ambiciosa cinta animada. Otros nombres destacados que acudir n a presentar sus nuevos proyectos son Alberto V zquez (Psychonauts, the forgotten children), Daniel Mart nez Lara)Alike) or SAM)POS that).
Doble protagonismo
La edici n de 2017 est marcada por el doble protagonismo de diversos profesionales seleccionados. Algunos nombres que se encuentran entre la programaci n oficial de 3D Wire cuentan con m s de un t tulo en la cita; este es el caso del citado Alberto V zquez que tras ganar dos Premios Goya el ltimo a o, presentar su nuevo y esperado largometraje: Unicorn Wars; as como su primer proyecto de videojuego: Microbian.
Otros nombres que sonar n por partida doble el viernes 6 y estar n en la capital castellanoleonesa ser n los de Chelo Loureiro e Iv n Mi ambres, productores de la cinta de V zquez y tambi n de The sultanas dream, nuevo proyecto de Isabel Herguera. Al igual que Diego Porral, que en su caso cuenta con un trabajo en el 3D Wire Fest (Un d a en el parque) pero tambi n acudir para anunciar novedades de su nuevo proyecto de corto Millennials y c mo identificarlos.
Ra l Rubio de Tequila Works, ser el ltimo de los invitados confirmados que subir dos veces al escenario. En primer lugar, para hablar de su proyecto transmedia: The Invisible Hours, una de las experiencias narrativas m s profundas disponibles en VR hasta el momento; y por otro lado, participar como ponente en la mesa sobre coproducci n de videojuegos con su experiencia en The Sexy Brutale junto al estudio brit nico Cavalier Game Studios.
Super Science Friends
Las presentaciones de proyectos a aden un nuevo nombre a la ya notable lista: la aclamada webserie Super Science Friends. Sus creadores acaban de confirmar su asistencia al evento, acudir n a la cita su director Brett Jubinville, productora Morghan Fortier, animadora Larissa Melnik y guionista Kevin Williams. La creaci n del canadiense Brett Jubinville se confirma como uno de los momentos m s esperados y es que son cientos de miles los seguidores de las aventuras de este grupo de superh roes cint ficos.
Nombres como Albert Einstein, Nikola Tesla, Marie Curie, Charles Darwin, Sigmund Freud y Tapputi conforman este nico equipo con el objetivo de librar al mundo de los supervillanos a trav s del tiempo.
Ganadora de diversos premios en cert menes tan destacados como Toronto Animation Arts Festival International, TO WebFest o New York Science Fiction Film Festival; Segovia ser el escenario elegido para anunciar sus novedades.

Uno de los temas fundamentales dentro de la pr xima edici n de 3D Wire, ser la inversi n privada. Un aspecto que, por segundo a o consecutivo, propiciar la celebraci n de una jornada especial dedicada a este mbito. Organizada en colaboraci n con el ICEX y el apoyo de DIBOOS, tendr lugar el pr ximo 5 de octubre en el Palacio Quintanar de Segovia, sede principal de este evento referente nacional e internacional para la animaci n, los videojuegos y los new media.
