Barco Demetra skin imaging solution and MediPortal announce new partnership Kortrijk, Belgium, 23 June 2022 - Barco today announced a new partnership between its Demetra skin imaging systems business with MediPortal, the Belgian-based healthcare software developer. The partnership will integrate Demetra's skin imaging platform with MediPortal's Mediris Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, creating a seamless workflow for dermatologists in performing skin examinations.

Demetra helps improve patient care by providing visualizations and insights at the point of care that support the clinician's decision on management strategies, diagnosis, treatments and follow-ups with their patients. Mediris is an online platform built to support health care professionals to collect, store, manage and transmit a patient's electronic medical record in a secure way. The integration will allow a clinician to access patient demographics from Mediris on Demetra's point of care diagnostics device and then provide access to the diagnostic imaging via Mediris' EHR platform.
