ABOX42, a supplier of IPTV, OTT and Hybrid SmartSTB platforms, has announced that EVIO Polska, the Polish fibre TV service provider, has selected the ABOX42 M- Series SmartSTB platform for its new TV service Telewizja Swiatlowodowa which will be used by over 100 local fibre-optic networks throughout Poland, delivered together by EVIO and local ISP operators. The new service will offer the highest quality of digital TV in combination with advanced multimedia features.

EVIO is one of the first major service providers to deliver a modern, advanced and future proof IPTV service including rich multimedia features as a managed service to fibre operators in Poland. This allows the local networks to provide a complete service offering in order to enhance customer loyalty and secure future growth.

The ABOX42 M-Series SmartSTB with its compelling hardware design, the latest technology hard- and software-architecture allows us to offer a complete product for advanced users on fibre networks. The Telewizja Swiatlowodowa TV service was introduced at the end of October and rollout has already started.
