EditorsKeys have successfully reached their target goal for the Kickstarter Campaign they launched 9 days ago. The campaign, which had reached 50% in just 48 hours of launching, hit its target today from pledgers all over the world.
The company gave the public the chance to pre-order the worlds very first backlit editing shortcut keyboard and will now start the production process thanks to the funding they received via Kickstarter. Pledging will still take place for an extra 37 days.
To reach 100% in under 10 days has been a great achievement for EditorsKeys who have worked hard to raise awareness for the campaign across all forms of social media, as well as having interest from world leading production blogs, music production magazines and even celebrity producers.

The keyboard is designed to help editors working in dimly lit environments and also eases eye strain which is a common issue for editors all over. The keyboard doesnt only offer health benefits, it also helps editors speed up the editing process by up to 40%. It does this by displaying the shortcut tools for popular editing software such as Pro Tools and Final Cut Pro X.

Backers are offered 30% off the retail price once the product is launched. Each keyboard is dedicated to the software of the users choice and EditorsKeys are also offering a separate range of add-ons such as wrist pads and signed merchandise from the team as a thank you for different size pledges. The largest pledge will allow the backer to personalize the keyboard with their own name, a company logo, or any picture they like, even if its a picture of their pet cat.
