New products include the UHL-43, a compact POV-Type 4K camera, as well as our Grade-1 master monitor HQLM-3125X, a 31 HDR monitor with 1.000 nits brightness and overwhelming contrast. Furthermore, HDR support for HLM-60 series HD monitors is now available.

As the industry's progression towards 4K-HDR workflows accelerated consistently over the last years, more and more broadcasters want to deliver ultra-high resolution images and powerful colours into the homes of their audiences. After the successful introduction of their first native 4K/HDR studio camera, the UHK-430, Ikegami now announced the launch of the latest addition to their camera line-up: The UHL-43.

This compact sized POV-Boxcamera deploys 3-CMOS sensors with a sensitivity of F11 and an SNR of 62 dB (typ.), ensuring convincing gradation even at difficult lighting conditions. It is furthermore possible to choose between various output connections, including 12G, 3G-Quad-Link or Media-Over-IP (MoIP). HD-Downconversion and HD-Cutout signals are available as standard, enabling an easy integration into existing HD workflows. HQLM-3225

Producing 4K-HDR material requires the possibility to critically evaluate every aspect of the image, especially the captured dynamic range. For this purpose, Ikegami introduced the HQLM-3125X. This True HDR Master Monitor uses a special Liquid-Crystal panel technology to reach a maximum brightness of 1.000 nits while maintaining a pitch-black level simultaneously, thus reaching a contrast

Not always the native resolution of a 4K-HDR signal is needed for monitoring. For this purpose, Ikegami announced that High Dynamic Range support is now available as an option for its HLM-60 series. The new option includes EOTF tables for Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) and S-Log3 in addition to conventional gamma. Existing monitors of the HLM-60 series can be upgraded with the new option retrospectively
