Sky Ireland has today announced that Sky's new TV, Sky Glass, will officially launch in Ireland on Thursday, 25th August 2022.
Available in a range of sizes and colours, Sky Glass is the only TV with award-winning Sky inside, allowing customers to get Sky TV over WiFi - removing the need for a satellite dish or set-top box. Simply plug, pair and play to enjoy stunning picture quality and cinematic sound, with everything you need built in. With easy access to stream your favourite content and apps using voice command, Sky Glass makes it simple for users to find and watch the TV they love.

Following its hugely successful launch in the UK, we are thrilled to announce that Ireland will be the second market to launch Sky Glass. The launch of Sky Glass here marks a significant milestone in Sky's 25-year history in Ireland and follows our recent announcement that Sky Mobile is coming to Ireland in 2023, as well as the opening of our four new flagship retail stores.

It opens the world of Sky to customers who may not have been able to access Sky TV before now. With the ability to stream the best content and apps over WiFi, Sky Glass features Ultra HD, Quantum Dot technology and 360 Dolby Atmos sound. Sky Glass will be available in Ireland from August 25th, but we are giving customers the opportunity to pre-register for Sky Glass now.

Sky partnered with Map Project Office, one of world's leading design agencies, to create the elegant design. Sky Glass comes in a choice of three sizes (Small 43 , Medium 55 and Large 65 ) and five rich colours. Choose from Ocean blue, Ceramic white, Racing green, Dusky pink, or Anthracite black, with matching remote and speaker fascia. It has a mounting bracket cleverly integrated into the TV, or a sleek colour matched stand. With a single plug, Sky Glass makes cable clutter a thing of the past, while the woven acoustic mesh used to optimise sound performance and millimetre-perfect perforations, help Sky Glass sound as good as it looks.

With the new plus button on your Sky Glass remote, you can create your own personal playlist, allowing you to enjoy content any time you want - whether it's a Sky Original, from live TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime or Disney .
You also never need to miss a show again. With live Restart, you can jump straight back into programmes that are on now and available to watch from the start.

Sky Glass is made to be affordable. Customers can buy Sky Glass by paying in full up front or by spreading the cost with interest-free monthly payments.
Sky Glass starts from as little as 15 per month for the 43 Sky Glass TV. For just 5 more, you can increase the size of your TV to a 55 , or you can choose the 65 Sky Glass TV for 26 per month. For those that enjoy watching Sky in multiple rooms at home, the Whole Home pack puts Sky Glass inside any TV using the Sky Stream Puck for 19 per month.
Sky Glass comes with a full two-year warranty and a free delivery service that includes unboxing and packaging removal.
