photokina and DIGILITY: Departure to New Dimensions As of 2018, DIGILITY, a B2B conference and expo for technologies and services for virtual, augmented and mixed reality, 3D, 360 and artificial intelligence, will take place in parallel with photokina yet still as an independent event. Following its successful premiere in 2016, DIGILITY 2017 has shown considerable growth with 65 exhibitors and more than 1,400 visitors. DIGILITY is well on its way to becoming the European hotspot of the digital reality scene. For the visitors of photokina, the proximity with DIGILITY opens up a new dimension of imaging with an impressive depth and breadth of offerings.

With photokina and DIGILITY, we present an exceptional yearly business and communication hotspot for imaging technologies in all their facets, according to Christoph Werner, Head of the Digital, Entertainment und Mobility section of Koelnmesse. Digital realities are not only a decisive technology, but also make for attractive content pieces in the future of imaging. At DIGILITY, all those interested will find the corresponding expertise and fitting partners.

For large parts of the striving economic branch of digital reality, the imaging technologies presented at photokina are in turn indispensable. Whether augmented reality start-up or entertainment corporation with virtual reality content: solutions and products of the world s market leaders in imaging presented at photokina are an important component of the value creation chain of many digital reality applications.

Focus on digital reality

As an independent event, DIGILITY will also continue to concentrate on the segment of digital reality, and will continue to expand its offering here. Software, hardware and services from the fields of virtual, mixed and augmented reality, 3D, computer-generated imaging, 360 imaging, as well as artificial intelligence are the focus of the conference programme and the exhibition.

DIGILITY takes place in 2018 from 26 to 27 September in hall 5.1 of Koelnmesse. The tickets for DIGILITY also include a visit to photokina. Spontaneous visitors to photokina can still redeem a DIGILITY ticket on site.
