Tim Howard & Stuart Holden Join B/R Football UEFA Champions League Studio Coverage Available Through B/R Live & TNT Thursday, August 9, 2018

B/R Football Pre-Match, Halftime & Post-Match Coverage to Originate Live From Two Fully-Integrated Studios
Tim Howard and Stuart Holden have been added as analysts for B/R Football studio programming, part of Turner's season-long coverage of the UEFA Champions League. Pre-match, halftime and post-match studio shows will be available on B/R Live and TNT, kicking off with the one-hour B/R Football Matchday, along with B/R Football Halftime, B/R Football Extra Time (a bridge show airing between TNT match telecasts) and a 30-minute B/R Football Postmatch show.
B/R Football will simultaneously utilize two fully-integrated studios - in Atlanta and Los Angeles - throughout its coverage of the UEFA Champions League. Howard, a current MLS player, will contribute to UEFA Champions League studio coverage on Wednesdays, with Holden regularly appearing on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. They will join previously announced host Kate Abdo and Steve Nash, along with additional commentators and special guests, throughout the season.
Turners UEFA coverage will include the upcoming UEFA Super Cup - Real Madrid vs. Atletico Madrid - Wednesday, Aug. 15, at 3 p.m. ET, available on both B/R Live and TNT.
Howard, a veteran U.S. Men's National Team goalkeeper and current member of Major League Soccer's Colorado Rapids, also has extensive international experience with EPL clubs Manchester United (2003-07) and Everton (2006-16). Howard spent a decade with Everton, amassing more than 400 appearances. Prior to Liverpool, he spent three seasons at Old Trafford with Manchester United. Howard, a native of North Brunswick, N.J., began his professional career with the United Soccer Leagues' North Jersey Imperials in 1997, and then the MLS' New York/New Jersey MetroStars from 1998-2003. He returned to MLS with the Rapids in 2016.
The most-capped goalkeeper in USMNT history with more than 100 appearances since his debut in 2002, Howard's national team accomplishments include the FIFA World Cup record for saves in a match, the Golden Glove at the 2009 Confederations Cup, and CONCACAF Goalkeeper of the Year from 2013-2015. He has been a member of three World Cup teams.
In 2014, Howard co-authored the New York Times bestselling book The Keeper that reflected on a range of personal experiences and obstacles, from becoming the youngest player to win MLS Goalkeeper of the Year, to overcoming the challenges of being diagnosed with Tourette's syndrome as a teenager.
Holden, one of the U.S.'s biggest soccer voices, is fresh off calling his first FIFA World Cup Final, in his current role as FOX Sports' lead game analyst. His additional broadcasting experience includes UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, England's FA Cup and MLS broadcasts.
A former member of the U.S. Men's National Team, Holden served as a midfielder during the 2010 World Cup while on his way to 25 USMNT appearances. Additional international highlights include representing the United States in the 2008 Olympics - recording the game-winning goal against Japan - and scoring in his national team debut against Grenada in the 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
Holden notched two stints in the Barclays Premier League, first with Sunderland (2005) and later Bolton Wanderers (2010-14). In 2011, he earned Bolton Wanderers Player of the Year honors. Born in Aberdeen, Scotland, and raised in Texas, he won two MLS Cups in his home state while a member of the Houston Dynamo.
Additionally, Fernando Perez, a former MLB player with media experience as a MLB Network contributor and Vice correspondent, will be on site for B/R Football at select matches throughout the season, delivering a firsthand account of the unique atmospheres that surround the world's game.
B/R Live - Turner's new premium live sports streaming service - will be the definitive destination for live UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League action, providing soccer fans with direct access to subscribe and watch more than 340 matches on an individual ($2.99), monthly ($9.99) or annual ($79.99) basis. B/R Live is available at https://live.bleacherreport.com; by downloading the B/R Live app through iTunes or Google Play; and/or via Apple TV, the Roku platform and Amazon Fire TV.
As the exclusive English-language multimedia rightsholder for UEFA matches in the United States, Turner will televise 46 UEFA Champions League matches on TNT.
