After the last years success of Utkarsh Marathi Film Festival ; it has now grown bigger to have been transformed into Indian International Film Festival South Africa (IIFFSA) . IIFFSA in its second year is planning to have all the Indian Diaspora and South African Diaspora Films, Short Films and Documentaries. IIFFSA event is scheduled to be launched from 16th January 2014 to 23rd January 2014.
IIFFSA is an annual film festival aimed at promoting exchange of contemporary and cultural ideas, friendship and social development through the medium of cinema. This event envisages to showcase the latest and critically acclaimed work in cinema across African, Bollywood and other Indian regional cinema to the Indo-African community residing currently in South Africa.
IIFFSA strives for providing a platform to established and upcoming talent in the area of cinema. It aims at undertaking community upliftment projects by initiating cross border and cross cultural films in South Africa.
IIFFSA will be arranging one day acting and direction workshop in Pretoria, Gauteng. The details of the same will be available on IIFFSA's official website very soon.
This event will include all competition and non competition film entries and screenings. IIFFSA will accept all Feature Films, Short Films and Documentaries from Indian Diaspora and African Diaspora.
Entry to IIFFSA is completely free and films released from October 2012 onwards are welcome for entries. Film entry can be given through IIFFSAs online film entry form.
filPlease visit www.iiffsa.com to submit the entry form online. The last date for submission of entries is 10th December 2013. This will be extended for South African entries to 15th December 2013
