On Wednesday, we talk our bread and butter: games. Our treasured live games will return and, when they do, we'll be there to tell their stories better than ever before. Whether it's through interpersonal relationships or technological enhancements, how are collegiate athletics live event producers not only presenting a live broadcast of the game, but telling the deeper stories of their student athletes, coaches, and campus to add a deeper layer of engagement to the live game broadcast?

Keynote Conversation: Directing an Elite Live Event
Artie Kempner is one of the top directors in the sports television business. The 12-time Emmy Award winner has directed everything from the Super Bowls to numerous Daytona 500s, as well as The Masters and NBA. Kempner sits down with the SVG College community to talk about the artform of directing.

Venue Edge Case Study: Rebranding a Classic Tournament
Venue Edge worked with the Mountain West Conference to create a new energy for the game day presentation of their longtime basketball championships. Venue Edge Founder David Saphirstein will be joined by former Mountain West Associate Commissioner Dan Butterly to discuss the process and share what makes a successful fan experience.

Tech Focus Panel: At-Home Production Tools
Prior to the Coronavirus outbreak, the sports video industry's accepted definition of at-home or REMI production looked quite similar to a centralized control room on a college campus. Now, as the college industry hopes to get back to live events, collegiate content creators are looking for creative solutions to deploy a production crew safely with solutions that may take some positions out of the control room environment. Technology experts gather to share their learnings from the past couple of months to help you make decisions on what at-home tools may help you get your live events back on the air safely and efficiently.

Whether it's through technology (graphics, replay, cameras, lenses, microphones, connectivity) or strategy (relationships with coaches, on-air talent, SIDs), how are live college sports broadcasters taking the live game to the next level to developer deeper affinities among viewers?
