TVE launches new chapters of Spanish cities heritage shot in 4K HDR and 5.1 sound Following the issuance in the chapters dedicated to Avila, Santiago and Segovia 2016, La 2 premieres in 2017 the documentaries about C ceres, Toledo, Salamanca and Merida.

C ceres is the next installment of the documentary series of RTVE in 4K Spanish World Heritage citiesthat returns to the 2 after issuing the chapters on Avila, Santiago and Segovia in 2016. In this new episode, viewers will discover the Palacio de los Golfines, Bujaco Tower or the Tower of storks, among other emblematic sites of C ceres, in addition to its gastronomy and its natural richness. Toledo, Salamanca and M rida will be the protagonists in the coming weeks. You can see this Sunday in La 2 and later will be available in 4 K on the red button of RTVE.

C ceres, "sleeping city", has managed to preserve intact the charm of its streets, palaces and their ancestral homes, rehabilitated as places of restoration or for cultural activities, such as the brothers Berzosa official Music Conservatory.

Declared heritage of humanity by UNESCO in 1986, it is the third best preserved historical set in Europe, with landmarks such as the Palacio de los Golfines, Bujaco Tower, the Tower of storks, of the precious blood, the oven, or the arc of the is trella. In addition, it has the Museum Helga de Alvear, with more than 2,500 works from the second half of the 20th century avant-garde movements. But the best thing is to wander through its streets: the Jewish quarter to the Cathedral, the Plaza of Spain, patios and cloisters.

This city is one of the global headquarters of the Womad Festival, promoted by the musician Peter Gabriel, and has been protagonist of shootings of film and television, thanks to the conservation of its medieval surroundings. Gastronomy is another of its main dishes: migas, the cheese with denomination of origin, like the Torta del Casar; the ham or Partridge Alc ntara.

Caceres is also as a special protection area for birds, both in the town and in the surrounding area. 14 kilometers from the capital, lies the Natural Park of los Barruecos, where there is the largest colony of white stork on rock of Europe.

Jos Miguel Rodr guez de Albornoz, Viscount of Torrehidalgo; Mercedes Guardado, Vostell widow; Mar a Jes s Garc a Vaquero, Javier Sellers, Helga de Alvear or Antoni Canals, will accompany viewers during a tour of the past and present of C ceres.

La serie documental, que nace de la firma de un convenio de colaboraci n entre RTVE y el Grupo de Ciudades Espa olas Patrimonio de la Humanidad, est basada en una idea original y dirigida por Bel n Molinero, y ha sido rodada en Ultra Alta Definici n con tratamiento de Alto Rango Din mico (HDR) y con sonido 5.1, lo que sit a a este producto en la m s absoluta innovaci n tecnol gica. La serie cuenta con rodaje de interiores y exteriores naturales, planos a reos, im genes de drones, cabezas calientes y c maras steadicam. Adem s, la sinton a original, as como parte de la banda sonora han sido grabadas por la Orquesta de RTVE.
