AmberFin, a leading developer of file-based media ingest, transcoding and quality control solutions for content owners, broadcasters, sports organizations and post-production houses, today announced it has appointed Magic Hour, a long-established distributor and systems integrator of broadcast technology solutions in France.

Headquartered just outside Paris in Meudon la For t, Magic Hour resells high-end software and hardware solutions for the production, postproduction and broadcast industries including products from leading vendors such as Black Magic Design, ChyronHego, and Grass Valley.

As an AmberFin reseller, Magic Hour will be responsible for the sale and support of AmberFins iCR (intelligent Content Re-Purposing) file-based content ingest and transcoding platform, as well as UQC, a vendor agnostic QC solution that enables broadcasters and facilities to harness the broadest range of media QC software systems and create a quality control workflow uniquely adapted to their production needs.
