
Non Stop People organizes a summer course on the revolution of the phenomenon of the series El canal de televisi n sigue apostando por la formaci n en el mbito audiovisual impartiendo un curso sobre el fen meno de las series televisivas en los cursos de verano de El Escorial de la mano de la Universidad Complutense.
Este lunes 3 de julio comienza el curso de verano de Non Stop People, el canal de informaci n y entretenimiento que emite en exclusiva en el dial 23 de Movistar . La cadena organiza por segundo a o consecutivo uno de los cursos dentro de la oferta de los Cursos de Verano de la Universidad Complutense que lleva como t tulo El fen meno de las series, m s all de la ficci n. El objetivo, de este curso que cuenta con el patrocinio de Hispasat, es analizar la revoluci n que ha sufrido a nivel mundial la ficci n televisiva y por qu las series se han convertido en un aut ntico fen meno social.
El curso, presidido por Jos Manuel Lorenzo, CEO y presidente de Non Stop People y de DLO Producciones, y dirigido por el periodista Antonio San Jos , se desarrolla en el Real Centro Universitario Mar a Cristina de El Escorial entre los d as 3 y 7 de julio contando con las ponencias de destacados profesionales del sector de la ficci n televisiva de nuestro pa s. Entre los ponentes figuran: Nacho Manubens, director adjunto de Ficci n de Atresmedia; Domingo Corral, director de Ficci n Original de Movistar ; Maurizio Carlotti, vicepresidente de Atresmedia; Ram n Campos y Teresa Fern ndez, directores de Bamb Producciones; Javier Olivares y Jos Manuel Irisarri, guionista y productor de The Ministry of time; In s de Le n, creadora de Inquilinos y directora de cortos en Vogue; Crist bal Garrido, creador de Con pelos en la lengua y guionista de Bajo sospecha, Velvet, Refugiados; Carlos Paya y Jacobo Saro, creadores de La supercafetera; Ricardo Vaca, presidente de Barlovento Comunicaci n, o el actor Jordi S nchez. Adem s a trav s de charlas y mesas redondas se discutir sobre las nuevas modas y tendencias de las series y webseries, con periodistas especializados y expertos como Miriam Lagoa de Movistar , Paula Hergar de Vertele y Helena Cort s de ABC.

Ponentes y estudiantes debatir n sobre el fen meno de las series e intentar n dar respuesta a las inc gnitas sobre el futuro de la ficci n y las nuevas plataformas de oferta televisiva.
Nuevos senderos
Si algo caracteriza el nuevo tiempo de la televisi n es la eclosi n de una larga lista de series televisivas cuya excelente factura y planteamientos originales ha revolucionado el panorama de la ficci n audiovisual. Algunos expertos dictaminan, y no les falta raz n en ello, que el mayor talento del mundo de la ficci n se encuentra actualmente en las grandes factor as de series televisivas, cuyos productos triunfan plenamente en todo el mundo universalizando toda una serie de creaciones que se han convertido en tema de conversaci n y en ocupaci n principal del tiempo de ocio de centenares de millones de espectadores.
El buen momento de la creaci n audiovisual no s lo se refleja en el xito de productos tan incontestables como impecables, sino tambi n en el surgimiento de nuevas plataformas de ofertas televisivas cuya implantaci n ha resultado tan r pida como exitosa a nivel internacional: HBO, Netflix, Movistar o Amazon, son, sin duda, un buen ejemplo de ello.
El trabajo imprescindible de guionistas, directores, actores, productores, el rol de los denominados showrunners , los nuevos senderos por los que transita la ficci n y el an lisis de las principales series televisivas, ocupar n las jornadas de un curso que permitir a los alumnos un contacto directo con los m s destacados profesionales del sector.
Las series, hoy, son mucho m s que ficci n. Un aut ntico fen meno social que merece el an lisis y el tratamiento acad mico que el mbito universitario puede ofrecer.
