BBC Studios and Post Production appoints Steve Kruger as Post Production Manager of its new Charlotte Street facility 18 Feb 2013

BBC Studios and Post Production has appointed Steve Kruger as its Post Production Manager to lead and manage its newly-launched post production facility on Charlotte Street, W1. The opening of its standalone facility means BBC Studios and Post Production is now able to offer Central London, full post production services to its TV and corporate clients.

In a career spanning 14 years, Steve has project managed post production on high profile TV entertainment productions - including I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!, Celebrity Love Island and Hell's Kitchen. He was the Post Production Supervisor on Dancing on Ice and worked on Nine Australia's London 2012 Olympics coverage and for Channel 4 during the Paralympics.

Steve brings a wealth of expertise in post production, broadcast IT and operations to the role and is well equipped to ensure our workflows best suit our clients' needs, said Charlotte Forde, Commercial Manager at BBC Studios and Post Production. We'll be working together to make BBC Studios and Post Production's Charlotte Street facility the place of choice for clients and creative talent. BBC Studios and Post Production's new Charlotte Street post production facility is HD-based and fully tapeless. It offers clients access to nine Avid Media Composer offline suites, eight Avid Symphony Nitris DX finishing suites, an Avid Pro Tools 5.1 audio suite and voiceover booth and an Autodesk Flame Premium 2013 visual effects suite with a Lustre grading toolset. The facility has full HD connectivity to BT Tower, BBC Studios and Post Production's studio sites in Elstree and Bristol and its Digital Media Services division's new facility at the Odyssey Business Park in South Ruislip, West London.
