Orange launches its new advanced features TV decoder Entre las novedades, incorpora la funci n ltimos 7 D as' y distribuye su aplicaci n Orange TV para dispositivos compatibles con Android TV.
Orange lanza su nuevo descodificador 4K de altas prestaciones para su servicio de televisi n, Orange TV, con el que sus clientes podr n disfrutar de la m xima calidad de imagen y sonido y tendr n acceso a nuevas funcionalidades a trav s de una interfaz de usuario avanzada. La oferta actual de TV se ve completada, adem s, con canales de TV y contenidos bajo demanda 4K, es decir con 4 veces m s calidad que en Full HD.
El nuevo descodificador 4K incluye un sintonizador TDT de ltima generaci n y una nueva y mejorada interfaz gr fica, a trav s de la cual se puede acceder m s r pidamente y de forma m s fluida a todos los contenidos de Orange TV: los mejores canales premium de cine y series, todo el f tbol de 1 y 2 Divisi n, Champions y Europa League, series completas A la Carta y a un Videoclub con los ltimos estrenos y cine de librer a. Adem s, Orange TV completa su oferta con contenidos 4K tanto en canales lineales (F tbol 4K, Canal Cocina 4K, Odisea 4K ) como con cine de estreno en el Videoclub.
Adem s, el nuevo descodificador integra el acceso a contenidos y servicios de terceros, incluyendo Wuaki Selection, la suscripci n de Rakuten TV, o toda la oferta de cine y series de Netflix con sus contenidos 4K, a los que pr ximamente se incorporar n nuevos proveedores de contenidos.
El nuevo descodificador ofrece tambi n funcionalidades avanzadas de b squeda y recomendaci n de contenidos, es compatible con dispositivos de sonido de m xima calidad (Dolby Atmos), y permite la conexi n a servidores multimedia de la red del hogar de los clientes.
Este avanzado descodificador, compatible con cualquier red de acceso (fibra y ADSL), ser ofrecido de forma gratuita a los clientes de Orange TV. La tecnolog a de ltima generaci n utilizada permite la recepci n de contenidos lineales y bajo demanda distribuidos por IPTV, OTT y TDT utilizando los m s avanzados mecanismos de protecci n y encriptaci n de contenidos por CAS y DRM.

Orange anuncia tambi n el lanzamiento de la nueva funcionalidad ltimos 7 d as en su servicio Orange TV, que permitir a sus clientes ver cualquiera de los programas emitidos durante la ltima semana, en cualquier momento y a trav s de cualquiera de los dispositivos de acceso compatibles con Orange TV (descodificador, Smart TVs, smartphones, tabletas o PCs). De esta manera los clientes de Orange TV tendr n a su disposici n m s de 5.000 contenidos adicionales para verlos cuando y donde quieran.
Acceder al servicio ser tan f cil como navegar a trav s de la gu a de programaci n en cualquiera de los dispositivos compatibles y seleccionar el contenido deseado. Los programas de ltimos 7 d as tienen disponibles todas las funcionalidades necesarias para el visionado del contenido bajo demanda: avanzar, rebobinar, pausar, continuar, comenzar desde el principio, etc.
Android TV
Asimismo, la aplicaci n Orange TV ya est disponible para los dispositivos con Android TV, la nueva plataforma de Google para televisores conectados.
Con este lanzamiento, los clientes de Orange TV podr n acceder al servicio desde televisores conectados Android TV de marcas como Sony, Phillips, Sharp o Bang&Olufsen, entre otras, as como a trav s de otros dispositivos como NVIDIA Shield, Razer Forge TV o Nexus Player de Google.
Los clientes de Orange ya pod an acceder a los contenidos y servicios de Orange TV a trav s de sus smartphones y tablets Android e iOS, de sus PCs y port tiles, de Chromecast, y de Smart TVs Samsung y LG. Con el lanzamiento de la aplicaci n Android TV, los clientes de Orange tienen acceso directo a contenidos premium de televisi n a trav s de la m s amplia gama de dispositivos y televisores conectados.
