Particle Accelerator: Krakatoa from inkbox available soon for MAXON CINEMA 4D

The highly anticipated CINEMA 4D version of Thinkbox Software's renowned particle renderer Krakatoa plugin with its powerful feature set will be made available at the start of 2014

Users visiting the MAXON booth at SIGGRAPH 2013 were very enthusiastic about the presentation of Krakatoa's new connectivity to CINEMA 4D. Ugly Kid artist Daniel Hennies demonstrated a C++-based version of Krakatoa SR's API that he had developed with a small team. The demand that followed Daniel's presentation was so great that Thinkbox Software decided to develop a complete Krakatoa plugin for CINEMA 4D together with the talented Munich, Germany-based developer.

We are very excited to be able to offer Krakatoa for CINEMA 4D and grateful that Daniel gave us the initial spark for this project with his preliminary work, exclaimed Thinkbox Software's founder Chris Bond.

Daniel Hennes, who's preliminary version sparked development stated: I really wanted to integrate Krakatoa into my workflow because I created a lot of high-end renderings that included particles and fluids. And since I definitely wanted to continue working with CINEMA 4D, I simply took matters into my own hands.
