VITEC's Diamond+ OG card, which made its EMEA debut at IBC2022, is the company's first card developed directly for the openGear platform.

KitPlus got the inside story at IBC! VITEC has developed a lot of openGear cards over the past three years, but this is a first for the company.

The card is a 4K multichannel HEVC, H.264 and MPEG-2 encoder for contribution or point-to-point streaming over IP applications. It's great for just about any use case you might have requiring high-quality video. It supports up to eight streams simultaneously and can deliver broadcast-quality video over dedicated IP networks and over the public internet, as well.Like many openGear solutions, this new card from VITEC offers a simple solution for realizing robust, forward-looking functionality, fast!
