EMG / Gravity Media has appointed Nathan Spencer, formerly CEO of EMG Connectivity in the USA, as the new managing director of its America operations. Spencer will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of EMG/Gravity Media's business in America, including strategic planning, business development, and operational management.

Nathan Spencer has been named managing director for EMG/Gravity Media American operations.

As we embark on this exciting chapter, I am confident that Nathan will harness the potential within our organisation, helping us to drive innovation, foster collaboration, and deliver results.

Spencer began his broadcast career in the UK in 1992 where he specialized in RF productions and has been active in the United States for many years where he has made a name for himself in both the movie and television industries. Prior to joining EMG Connectivity in 2023 Spencer worked as a Remote Operations Manager involved in business development as well as field support and as EIC for major events across North America like the NFL, College Football, MLS, Super Bowl, Triathlons, Marathons and Cycle Races. Spencer is also a member of the International Cinematographers Guild in Los Angeles.

Spencer says he is excited to take on this new role at EMG/Gravity Media and lead the talented team in America.

EMG/Gravity Media has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality broadcast and production solutions, and I look forward to building on this success and exploring new opportunities for growth in the U.S. market, he says.

Hindhaugh says that Ted Griggs, whom Spencer is replacing, will continue to oversee existing projects and also advise Spencer in the coming months.
