Lets talk about Text!

We are happy to announce our latest 4.0 release. Our team has been busy working on your feedback and making some great improvements. Round up your videos with some new text graphics and experience our polished UI.

We are also really excited to see so many people joining our storytelling movement. Over the past 3 months we have seen a lot of great content created on WeVideo and have doubled our active users! To date, we are a movement of 2+ million users and counting! Thank you!

Inspired by your feedback, this release includes one of the most requested features - Text Customization. Weve had some text graphics since the beginning, but these new features will allow you to customize your text elements like never before.

So whats new? We have simplified our text editing feature to make it more intuitive - from fonts and colors to opacity. Now is the time to design your creative titles, captions, subtitles, credits - you name it.

Weve included 16 new fonts that can go with any story - from medieval book reports, wedding photo stories or clean and sophisticated business presentations. We also improved support of all languages available in the editor - from Japanese to Arabic!

Color is where you let your personality shine. Our new color selector allows you to easily pick from pre-chosen base colors or type any color code to select your favorite one. In addition you can now control opacity for both text and text background to make your text or subtitles pop out!

Size and format are important too. Especially when you are trying to EMPHASIZE an important part in your story. Now you can select your font size using the size slider or by typing the font size in pixels. Weve also added a toggle option that helps you adjust the text box to fit your copy.

What about callouts? We have redesigned the text library with more customizable text components. In the annotations section you will find fully customizable callouts and arrows to help you highlight whats important in your story or presentation.

Performance and rendering improvements We've fixed several minor issues to make your experience smoother and trouble-free. Rendering has been improved to provide faster exports with improved quality of your video gems.

Added monthly or annual subscriptions

Emoji symbol support

Fixed various bugs and improved stability and performance
