Encompass Event Group Flies into L-Acoustics Ownership with Afterburners On posted: 04/09/2019

Denver-based SR provider becomes the manufacturer's latest Rental Network Partner
and deploys a K2 system for the Air Force Academy's recent graduation ceremony
Denver-based Encompass Event Group, one of Colorados fastest-growing full-line production rental providers, has now been certified as an L-Acoustics Rental Network Partner. Shortly after receiving that certification, the sound reinforcement company deployed a large L-Acoustics K2 system at the graduation ceremony for the US Air Force Academy near Colorado Springs, which saw President Donald Trump deliver the commencement address.

That project utilized a combined total of 42 K2, six Kara, and eight Kiva II enclosures, plus eight KS28 subs. Four short-throw X12 provided additional fill, and eight LA-RAK II-each loaded with three LA12X amplified controllers-powered the entire system.
Other Encompass Event Group projects to recently use the new K Series gear have included corporate shows at Chicago's Wintrust Arena at McCormick Square and the Cincinnati Convention Center.
In addition to praising the sound of his new L-Acoustics enclosures, Encompass Event Group President Mark Payne points out that the other benefits that come with the partnership are just as valuable. As part of the L-Acoustics Rental Network Partner validation, Encompass Event Group's technicians have become certified to both design systems using Soundvision 3D acoustical simulation software and properly deploy their new equipment per the manufacturer's specifications for achieving maximum performance and consistency.

Encompass Event Group's L-Acoustics package was sold through Clearwing Productions' Milwaukee office, with the sale managed by Kerry Miller of Clearwing's Pro Shop. He welcomed Encompass to the L-Acoustics Rental Network by stating, We value our close relationship with Encompass Event Group and pride ourselves on being able to supply exceptional gear, both for rental and sales, to other production companies across the US.
