4G-enabled* smartphones with attractive terms
New subscribers or those with expired loyalty period can choose from the favourable Christmas offers of Telekom such sophisticated, trendy 4G-enabled smartphones like Nokia Lumia 925, Samsung Galaxy S4, Sony Xperia Z, LG G2 and HTC One with even a HUF 0 down payment, if they subscribe for the Next M tariff package - offering unlimited basic charge inland calls and SMS - upon committing to a 2 years loyalty period (mobile advance payment is required).Numerous additional post-paid terminals can also be purchased at 50 or 20 percent lower prices than in Telekom shops.
Doubling included minutes available for telephone calls and the data volume
Online shoppers on www.telekom.hu may enjoy discounted prices if choosing a post-paid subscription with 2 years loyalty, with or without terminal, as well as those buying Domino subscription with mobile telephone, or those extending the loyalty of their existing post-paid subscription by 2 years.
The Telekom Christmas offer also includes smartphones from HUF 14,990 with Domino Surf tariff package for mobile Internet. Those choosing Domino subscription with telephone in the Telekom webshop receive a one-time top-up added to their Domino balance in t he value of HUF 2,000 usable for intra-network calls to basic charge numbers and 200 MB data volume, which is available for 30 days within the country.
Those choosing the post-paid subscription with 2 years loyalty will benefit in the first month of the purchase (partial month) and the next full month from twice the monthly fee worth of included telephone calls and SMS, and the data volume included in the package will also double.
Valuable gift vouchers
When making a loyalty commitment for new or a post-paid subscription with expired loyalty, Telekom customers receive online vouchers redeemable for mobile accessories in the value of HUF 5,000, which can be used on the telekom.hu site when making a single purchase in excess of HUF 10,000. In case of buying services for home, assuming that customers commit to a loyalty period for tariff packages through online channels, subscribers receive L ra and Regio gift vouchers, offering a one-time 25% discount until January 31, 2014 when shopping on www.lira.hu or a one-time 10% game discount when shopping on website www.regio.hu until December 31, 2013.
Favourably priced tablets with promotional price for home internet
Telekom makes Christmas an exciting season with numerous terminals and services. In addition to favourably priced internet packages for home, Telekom also offers a rich assortment of tablets. Favourable price offers include 4G -enabled tablets and the WiFi-enabled Samsung tablet (available at a HUF 0 down payment, with 2 years loyalty and interest-free instalments with home internet package) - which comes with a gift case when buying online. Moreover, the monthly fee of NetMania tariff packages is only HUF 1,990 in the first two months.
Galaxy Gear smartwatch included in the Christmas offer
The Telekom Christmas offer also includes GALAXY Gear, the new, luxury smart watch of Samsung. The watch can connect to certain types of Samsung smartphones nearby and can take over certain functions. The watch and telephone communicate via Bluetooth. The GALAXY Gear user can receive and initiate calls from his wrist, while the telephone automatically displays important notifications received. The touch screen of the tool displays the time, messages or music played. Not only can the tool be controlled by touching it but it also receives voice commands. Photos can also be taken with GALAXY Gear, enabling fast snapshots. In addition, one can also share experiences immediately on community sites with Gear.

In January 2012 Telekom - being first among Hungarian operators - launched the commercial 4G/LTE based mobile internet service. By the end of 2012 the outdoor 4G/LTE - residential - coverage reached 99% in Budapest, while the residential indoor 4G/LTE coverage was 83%. Currently the service is available outdoor to 40% of the Hungarian population. By 2015 Magyar Telekom intends to double the current 4G/LTE coverage with its network upgrade, making the most sophisticated mobile technology available to 80% of the population. Outdoor residential coverage %: the proportional ratio of residents living in areas defined as covered areas - according to the split map based on registered addresses - and the total population.
