Andalusia hosted 1.336 shootings along 2016 The shooting in Andalusia leave 118.345.747 euros in the Andalusian economy and create 15.541 jobs.

The President of Andaluc a Film Commission, Carlos Rosado Cobian, along with the Councillor of tourism of the Junta de Andaluc a, Francisco Javier Fern ndez and director of RTVA, Joaqu n Dur n, have presented the memory of shootings carried out in Andalusia over the past year.

After the recovery from the shooting in 2015, confirms the upward trend during the year 2016 with 1.336 shoots of all types of audiovisual works that place to Andalusia as a premier destination in the industry of filming in Spain.

In 2016, important national and international productions have been shot in Andalusia: Penny Dreadful, game of thrones, the white Princess, The trip to Spain, gold and hostile zone o Lord give me patience they are just some of them.

The 2016 memory describes in detail the promotional activity of Andalusia, their locations and their industry with a significant presence in major domestic and international markets. Beside this promotional activity has been instrumental in the action co-ordinated network of film cities of Andalusia which has made it possible, moreover, territorial diversification of the shoots produced in the year.

Added to this is intense activity with the Ministry of tourism and sport of the Junta de Andaluc a to foster film tourism in Andalusia, creating tourist consumer products linked to the cinema, the TV series and documentaries. During the year 2017 will present a powerful portal called the great path of cinema by Andalucia elaborated jointly with Turismo Andaluz.

The Councillor of tourism of the Junta de Andaluc a, Francisco Javier Fern ndez has recalled that this collaboration is now ten years old stating that the results that throws the sector are the best of the Decade, a period in which other destinations have also developed intensive strategies to attract to the audiovisual industry, but in which not only Andalusia has grown more but at greater pace than the rest , by what he considered that it is a successful line of joint work.

Fernandez has influenced that cinema is a resource of the first order for the tourist promotion of Andalusia, already so uptake of filming as the attraction of visitors from these motivations behaves as a complement to the traditional offer of the destination, to provide a quality and differentiation, plus offering the traveller who visits the community new and unique experiences.

Director of RTVA, Joaquin Duran, has highlighted the successes achieved by the cinematographic and television productions supported by the chain, as well as the launch of the TV series.
