Contracts Manager : Television

Serves as a central point for contact management for the entire Group, Maintain contract folders in accordance with all applicable regulations and policy, Monitor contractor's performance, reviewing and providing recommendations on contractor proposals resulting from change orders, scheduling, problems that have arisen and proposed solutions, verification of deliveries, and similar activities

Advise Procurement Division, internal and external business partners on the aspects of proposed changes/actions to the existing contract

Assist in the preparation of monthly Contract Management Reports

Prepare and process contract modifications

Track and document services performed and/or supplies delivered

Process contract disputes or claims as necessary

Provides authoritative recommendations to the business about their contracts

Conducts detailed studies of contractor's management, operational and financial policies in order to determine capability to perform contract

Evaluates the contractor's financial status and profit and loss statement, balance sheets, and other financial data in business enterprises

Ensures that all appropriate steps have been taken to safeguard the interests of the organization, regulations and other applicable procedures have been met

Conduct market research for the existing contracts

Support Procurement division with contract related matters e.g. negotiations etc.

Ensure that the business submit the performance report during the contract duration and after the contract has been expired

Process contract closeout, including review of supplies provided or services performed, ensure that proper payment has been made, that all actions or potential actions have been resolved, and that the proper procedures for closeout have been followed.

Draft the supplier reference letter in conjunction with the Legal department.

Qualifications and Experience

Grade 12

Minimum 3 year Diploma in Supply Chain Management/Logistics/Commercial Qualification/ LLB

Knowledge of PPPFA/PFMA and all other related legislation

5 years' experience in Contracts Management and RFX Processes

Able to assist departments/provinces with contract management processes

2 years' experience in SAP Materials Management module

Successful Candidate will be required to go through a thorough vetting process with the State Security Agency of Republic of South Africa and obtain positive clearance. The final confirmation of employment will be upon receipt of positive clearance within the probation period of 6 months.
