This free platform will feature original programming, with live broadcasts, news and summaries of Olympic activity throughout the year. Designed for a global audience, the platform will be offered initially in English with subtitles in nine different languages and will feature a video on demand service.

Olympic channel intends to promote agreements with other stakeholders in the Olympic movement, including broadcasters and national Olympic committees to develop localized versions of the emission. The localized versions will offer specific user experiences in the local language on digital platforms, and also include linear television programming options.

The channel team is initially composed of 60 professionals of 20 nationalities.

Commercial and distribution departments are located at the headquarters of the IOC in Lausanne (Switzerland) while technical support, production and broadcast will take place from Madrids Olympic Broadcasting Services)OBS), audiovisual arm of the Olympic Committee whose headquarters is located precisely in the capital of Spain.
