LPGA Ups Its Production Game in 2026 With 50% More Cameras, SSMO's & Drones, and Additional Mics Golf Channel will televise every single LPGA Tour round live for the first time in 2026 By Jason Dachman, Editorial Director, U.S.

The LPGA will significantly enhance its broadcast coverage in 2026 as part of a new multi-year agreement with Commercial property insurer FM. As a result of the partnership, the LPGA's weekly telecasts will feature new technology, equipment, and content, as well as added enhancements from Golf Channel and Trackman. Starting in 2026, broadcast elements often seen only during major weeks will be standard in domestic non-major events on Golf Channel.
LPGA broadcasts will see a 50% increase in the total number of cameras versus the 2025 season, as well as slow-motion cameras and three times more microphones. In addition, drone coverage will highlight venues and showcase the players' skill and expertise. Broadcasts will also focus more on athlete storytelling with enhanced content and production, including broadcast walk-and-talks with players and caddies.
Enabled by FM's investment, additional cameras will quadruple the LPGA's shot-tracing capabilities from the 2025 season. Fans can expect to see players' shots traced by every camera in a tracing position, with Trackman's shot-tracing technology enabling viewers to gain a better understanding of how the LPGA Tour athletes shape and control ball flight.

Golf Channel to Present Every Round Live Golf Channel will televise every LPGA Tour event in 2026, and for the first time in the network's 30-plus year history, every round of its coverage will be presented live across the country. The 30-plus event schedule will have live coverage across Golf Channel and select rounds on CNBC to provide live national TV coverage for the LPGA Tour next season.
2026 will be a great year for LPGA Tour viewers as we will televise every single LPGA Tour event and coverage of every round will be live across the country, which is a direct result of Golf Channel and CNBC both being a part of the VERSANT portfolio, says Tom Knapp, EVP and general manager, Golf Channel. Additionally, we've worked together with the LPGA Tour and our partners at FM and Trackman to enhance our production, adding more technology to our telecasts as we continue to be the proud home of the LPGA Tour and showcase the best women's golfers on the planet every single week.

Golf Channel surrounds this week's LPGA Tour CME Group Tour Championship with comprehensive studio and tournament coverage, beginning Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET with Golf Central live on-site at Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Fla., hosted by Anna Jackson alongside analysts Brandel Chamblee and Mel Reid and reporter Amy Rogers.
FM, LPGA Team Up to Transform Broadcast Coverage The multi-year agreement between FM and the LPGA is focused on transforming the television footprint of the Tour's North American events.

With this new partnership, FM will become an Official Partner of the LPGA. FM has been the title sponsor of the FM Championship since 2024; its $4.1 million purse is the largest on the LPGA Tour outside of the majors and tour championship.
Trackman, LPGA Enhance Partnership Trackman will become the Official Golf Simulator and Official Launch Monitor of the LPGA. This partnership is in addition to last week's announcement that the Epson Tour and the NEXT Golf Tour powered by Trackman will launch a new global event -the NEXT Epson Tour Q Open. Top finishers in the Q Open will advance to the NEXT World Series, where the top female performer will earn an exemption into three consecutive Epson Tour events.
