FOX Life Greenlights Italian Adaptation of Four Weddings

Four Weddings in Italy is Produced by Magnolia and is Set to Premiere on FOX Life in January 2014

Rome, Italy July 25, 2013: FOX Life, FOX International Channels (FIC)'s female skewing entertainment Pay TV network, has green-lit production on Four Weddings in Italy. In a move that furthers FOX Life's ongoing investment in local unscripted entertainment, the group is working with Magnolia to adapt the international format Four Weddings , which debuted originally in 2009 in the UK, and has been replicated globally since. Four Weddings in Italy is set to air on FOX Life (Sky) in January 2014.

Six, one-hour episodes make up the first season, which sees four brides-to-be compete to become the Best Bride' and to win a dream honeymoon.

The production of Four Weddings in Italy forms part of FIC's strategy for creating new and localized content across its portfolio of channels, with the brand drivers in each category being FOX, FOX Life, National Geographic Channel and FOX Sports. As for FIC Italy, Four Weddings in Italy is next on a long list of existing original productions and format adaptations. Over the past 10 years, these have included original scripted and non-scripted series such as Boris , The Monster of Florence, Maternity Ward and Dog Swap and format adaptations including local versions of Kitchens Nightmare , Nanny 911 , Sex Education Show , Wife Swap , Honey, Were Killing the Kids! and Killer Women .
